Ghost in the shell is possibly the greatest anime of all times and I love the brain hacking, you have to admit the world would be cooler if you could hack peoples brains and shut there eyes off :).

Would you be up to using fallow's ext3 patches in your next release? On one of my system, I got improved IO.

Those patches are intended for 2.6.12, I don't want to add them until I can verify there perfectly stable and don't screw stuff up. This is even more critical seeing as my /boot partition is ext3, lossing data there would be damned ass annoying.

Indeed. I use ext3 for all of my partitions but one, personally, I don't like Reiser4, and only use Reiser3.6 for keeping my music. Don't use Gentoo as my main box anymore either. I actually found Archlinux to be a better distro for my main desktop, and Gentoo for my older laptop.

After they are properly tested and verified stable, I'll consider adding them. I do believe there from -mm though, so it's likely they might get merged mainline by then. On a side note, I find slackware to be the best in my use, anywhere. Also, new release expected soon based off 2.6.11.9.

Edit: soon meaning monday, due to time required to test dark and the fact I'm leaving to vist my father on friday.

Awesome, can't wait. I know what the father visiting is like, I have to take a 1600 mile plane flight to see mine.

The next release is going to be delayed so I can test a resync of execshield, I've been using a brute-hack of the 2.6.10 execshield to get it too compile, so I want to update so I know I've gotten everything.

New release prepared to be uploaded soon, then I'll instantly get to work on 2.6.11.10-dark1, they have no "Let's wait for predatorfreak" sense.
