Getting back to it: we are almost at the mark of 32k users!
(I'm posting this early because I won't be online for the next hours.)
32k = 32 * 1024 = 2^5 * 2^10 = 2^15 = 32768 _________________ | www.gentoo.org | www.tldp.org | www.google.com | |

And now we've passed the 60k users mark (even -if- you, for some obscure reason, count 1k as 1024....<shiver>...1kg isn't 1024 grams! ) |

We currently do not delete spam accounts, we only ban them. _________________ Please read our FAQ Forum, it answers many of your questions.

Deleting accounts with posts associated causes the posts to be orphaned, which can cause trouble. We could of course delete the posts first, but it's just more work to that. That's why we usually don't delete any account, spammer or not. _________________ Dinosaur week! (Ok, this thread is so last week) |

Merged last two, and moved from Gentoo Forums Feedback, since this is really a Chat topic. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

Not quite true!
As the OP defined 1k as 1024 users we are at about 97k right now.

Actually, according to official standards, we hit the 100K mark, which is 97,6Ki. When we reach 100Ki, there will be 102,4K users.
Yes, Ki and all the other binary prefixes are real! And they are official standards! Look them up at the IEC or IEEE or NIST or whatever "official" organisation you like. And the good news is: Linux users are more likely to pick up these official binary prefixes. _________________ 411 /0µr 84$3 4r3 8310n9 70 µ$. |
