I encountered a problem with TeamSpeak and 2.6.12-rc2-love1 kernel. Trying to start server or client gives a runtime error (230 with client).
Tried to resolve this by all kinds of tricks i could find on Gentoo and TeamSpeak forums with no results.
I worked around this by downgrading back to 2.6.12-rc1-love1 with quite identical kernel configuration.
What's the glitch in rc2 that makes TeamSpeak crash? Hope it's not there with later versions of Love <3...

Here's some info on my setup...

Code:
$ uname -a
Linux kutulampi 2.6.12-rc1-love1 #1 SMP Wed Apr 13 14:41:00 EEST 2005 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.60GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

/etc/make.conf
Code:

USE="objc -nptl X gtk gnome alsa dvd cdr avi cups foomaticdb ppds usb emacs gif ipv6 java jpeg mpeg oggvorbis opengl oss samba unicode truetype quicktime xmms videos"
CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-O3 -march=pentium4 -funroll-loops -fprefetch-loop-arrays -pipe"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage"
FEATURES="buildpkg"

I'm going to go ahead and assume regular sound playback and recording works fine... ?

make.conf is irrelevant to kernels

Have you tried vanilla -rc2 ?

Yes, sounds work fine. But even that wouldn't explain why the server won't work.
Haven't tried vanilla... I'm in Love! ;)

It is important to determine whether the problem is caused by -rc2 or -love.

The problem seems to be with 2.6.12-rc2-love1. Tried 2.6.12-rc2 vanilla and TS works fine with it.
