Is there a way to change the format that syslog-ng logs to kern.log
What I'm trying to achieve is the colon after the host for each log entry
right now a log entry looks like
Mar 5 14:50:44 cipher blah blah blah
But for log anyalzers, mainly fwanalog. It looks for the : to know where the host info ends and the log info starts.
I found a quick fix by putting the : in the first part of log-prefix in my firewall, but I would think that there is a way to alter syslog-ng. I looked through the syslog-ng page but couldn't find info on how to change the logging style or what ever you want to call it.
Any ideas? |
