Hello,

In KDE 3 Konqueror, when I go to a page like http://www.gentoo.org, not all the pictures are displayed. It's the same in KMail with HTML newsletter.

Can you help me?

Thank you,

John.

I had the same problem yesterday :-)
My Konqueror was unable to display gifs...

My USE-variable had "gif" twice - I removed one, recompiled qt and everything works fine now.

Ciao,
Thorsten

As a newbie, I use Auto Portage mode. So, I don't have defined manually the USE var. I have emerged libgif. It seems that it was not merged !? Now, I will rebuild qt.

emerge x11-libs/qt, I suppose ?

Thank you Thorsten,

John

Yes, thank you Thorsten! Now I can see all the little gif buttons on the forum. So that's where the quote button is.
Now I'm off to look into printer setup.
