SPARC Question

Does Gentoo 2005.0 support SPARC32 or not? I was under the impression that Gentoo only had support for SPARC64, but in the Release Announcement you guys say that it supports SPARC32, although in the Gentoo Handbook still says that SPARC32 isn't supported.

So, what's the story? Does or doesn't support?

If you go to this thread, there are some experimental builds. Other then that, I think your pretty much screwed. Unless you want to run a real old version. I know when I first put together my Ultra 10, i saw some sparc 32 images on various FTP servers.

We support running it, just not installing it. Too tricky to make a sanely usable, secure livecd.

That's fine with me, I think I still have the 2004.0 release for Sparc32. But what's the use of releasing the 2005.0 stages for Sparc32? Can these be used with the 2004.0 live CD for Sparc32?
