while there are good NFS & disk saving references around -

(do I need another good ref for unmerge dependencies?)

Has anyone sucessfully dumped man & info pages? Since I started adding -v
to my emerge -p, I noticed the -doc flag and it got me thinking -

If there should be -man & -info. (might not be too hard to NFS from a desktop)
-readme (ssh to desktop)
If there are any other major doc systems.

Or if just umerging man & info (emacs?) would be enough to stop this?
(I guess info would bring up the issue of the stand alone info reader -vs- emacs)

---

I've been giving my NFS servers aliases like portage, home, etc...
quess I should start exploring YP / NIS domains
