ive set everything right (i belive)
Ive got 2 nic`s on the same module (ne2k-pci)
I`ve edited the modules.conf after what ive read on the net.

but i still get this error when trying to start the second nic

Have you tried one nic at a time? You know shutdown pull one & boot, see if it loads and get its info with "ifconfig -a". Shutdown pull it plugin the other one & see if it works. It could be one of them is broke or not seated right or in a bad pci slot. Heck if nothing else this will give you something to do till someone smart comes along

| i think you need to use the DECchip Tulip driver for the LNE100TX card instead of ne2k-pci. |
