Shall we? There are literally only three builds in net-p2p that have any stable version on sparc. I say we pick a build or two, focus on them, and get them tested.
I'm up for xmule or amule. Any takers? |

The aMule devs don't have access to a Sparc, however we will gladly provide whatever help we can in order to get it functional on that platform. On a side note, I should probably add that our latest available release (rc8) is getting awfully dated (we hope to make a release soon, but who knows), so if you want to work on aMule, I'd suggest that you grab a CVS snapshot which gets updated daily.

Well, it built easily enough. It crashed right out of the gate, tho.
On to reporting it .. |

For anyone interested --
amule now compiles and runs flawlessly on sparc. Get a CVS version, test it out. amule is supposedly soon to go to a final release, so we can hopefully look forward to a stable version in portage in not too terribly long. |
