it lets you use custom cflag settings when compiling the kernel, goes beyond what you choose in the processor type section, I found that certian things run a little snappier with the custom cflags but havent found a combination of settings that are 100% stable _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger. |

****update****
I added the 2.6.11-rc5-bk1 patch
plus some more toshiba laptop improvements
I included the actual Synaptics cPad driver into the usb/input section so it can be compiled into the kernel
also bluetooth can be enable now under /proc/acpi with
echo 'power:1' > /proc/acpi/toshiba/bluetooth
sleep 1
echo 'attach:1' > /proc/acpi/toshiba/bluetooth
also also.... now for toshiba users there are 2 fan speed settings, before the options were just off and low, now there is a high setting
echo 'force_on:1' > /proc/acpi/toshiba/fan | low speed
echo 'force_on:1' > /proc/acpi/toshiba/fan | high speed _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger. |

Hi, this patchset works really fast and stable with reiser4, but I seem to be getting this message:
Initializing Genetic Library - version 0.2
Initializing as-ioscheduler's phenotype num_ops
Initializing as-ioscheduler's phenotype throughput
Initializing as-ioscheduler's phenotype latency
Initializing as-ioscheduler's phenotype general
8 children started in as-ioscheduler genetic library
¿Does this mean, that the version of genetic algorithm is 0.2?
I´m using the 2.6.11-rc5.skunk3, I really would appreciate some info.
Thanks for makinkg such a great patchset _________________ Lucky Livecd 32 and 64 bit versions (reiser4 suppport)

You´re right, I read about this on kerneltrap, and I have tested, Love-sources and nitro with reiser4, and nitro is slower (maybe because of staircase) and love is a bit unstable, but Skunk-sources is the fastest and also very stable, no oopses at all.
I´m eagerly awaiting for the next release of this great patchset,
