|
|
I have an Avermedia TVCapture 98. I have installed LIRC-0.6.6 with the following options :
Code: | export LIRC_OPTS="--with-driver=avermedia --with-syslog=LOG_DAEMON" |
I have the config files /etc/lircd.conf, /etc/lircmd.conf and ~/lircrc, modified XF86Config as the LIRC documentation explains.
After run /etc/init.d/lircd start, i can see /dev/lircd, /dev/lircm and the /dev/lirc/ directory.
But when I try to exec irw, irexec or any other program that tries to use the remote control, i get :
Code: | connect: connection refused |
Running as a normal user or as root.
Any hints ?
Thank you. |

Try this, especially the part about how part of the output from the emerge tells you if you need to load any additional modules. |

Thanks. I've readed your other post before, but I made a mistake modifying /etc/init.d/lircd. Now it works.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you very much.
Best regards |
