(Please post to keep this thread alive.)

I think that Larry the Cow t-shirts should be available at http://store.gentoo.org/.

If they were available, I would buy one. I personally am not a big fan of the "G" shirts and I'm looking for someway of supporting gentoo (besides buying distro cds or donating straight cash).

Post here if you would like to see Larry the Cow on a shirt.

edit:
I emailed the gentoo store about the idea of a Larry the Cow shirt.

Larry the cow is stupid. So is the little alien guy thing. WTF is that alien supposed to be anyway?

ps. I already know the answer I'm just being facetious because it's stupid.

That should be the Gentoo logo. I would petition for a shirt with that on it. The purple G and Larry the Cow suck as mascosts but the G looks cool in fbsplash at least.

I'd like one of these as a shirt. Preferably something like this http://www.smartart.it/works/gentoo/portage.png
As a bonus it'd be nice to have it customised with flammie@g.o in the sleeves or on the back, then I could actually pay for it <3<3

(Am I the only one who thinks this new style of forum links looks scary? I can't imagine that this, prolly mod_rewritten, blurp of an URI would actually be more usable)

I like Larry the Cow, but not the one from your link. I don't like the skinny body of that cow. Too creepy.

well i didn't particularly mean THAT version of larry the cow. that was meant more for people who have no idea who larry is.

That icon is also used in Wolk sources during the boot up.

It doesn't get money from cafepress, unless the shop is run by whatever functions as the main body of Gentoo development.

I love that logo that's on the bag! If we had that logo on a t-shirt I would buy it without a moment's hesitation. THAT logo should be on a shirt in the gentoo store. It rules!

I would buy a dozen of black T-shirts with this Larry

It is just so weird that non other than gentoo users will know what does it mean...

C'mon, I'm talking about a strange looking MALE cow, being abducted, not by a flying saucer, but from a thing that resembles a big "G", with the word COMPILE on it
I would even remove the "Gentoo" word, just to make it even harder to track! Just to get that "WTF-Look TM" on other peoples faces 8)

?

I'm not a fan of the udders on that particular drawing, but the overall idea is pretty good.

Larry is obviously short for Larietta, a French cow...

Yeah, despite some old "poster" where larry es referred as a "he" I tend to thought about it as a she...
Maybe because my girlfriend about 2 year before I knew about Gentoo gave me as very very VERY cute litle cow (not an actual cow, but a .. damn I forgot the word, you know, like a tedy bear, but a cow)

So in that way, I have my very own Gentoo logo, maybe I´ll post a picture of it later ;)

How much expected profit would a product need to have before it becomes viable to manufacture.

for example, how many shirts would somebody need to sell before they started making a profit?
