|
|
Hi all,
Maybe you already know this "tip" but I found the other day that when I'm in a virtual terminal (Ctr+Alt+F#):
- right windows key takes me one virtual terminal to the right
- left windows key takes me one virtual terminal to the left
- the "menu key" switches between the current virtual terminal and the last I've used
I found it a bit faster to switch with the menu key than typing Alt+F1 and Alt+F2 for example...
Just wanted to share this with you.
Happy switching! |

It should be related to your keyboard configuration, but I can't help you more than that, I'm a noob...
Maybe some guru can help? |

If you want working windows keys for terminal switching you will have to load a keymap with those keys configured. Setting SET_WINDOWKEYS="yes" in /etc/conf.d/keymaps does just that. |
