I am running the sparc-sources package but see that a group of people are using kernel 2.6 and I was wonder what packages people done this with.
I am using a Sun Ultra 2 with a Creator3D vid card. |

I use Gentoo Sources (2.6.9) and it worked fine with my Ultra 10. |

This topic is interesting to me. I've tried compilng 2.6 kernels, but every version I've tried to compile ends in failure:
Code: | LD .tmp_vmlinux1
arch/sparc64/kernel/built-in.o(__ksymtab+0x490): undefined reference to `verify_compat_iovec'
make: *** [.tmp_vmlinux1] Error 1

I had this problem with 2.6.9 and 2.6.10 (both vanilla kernel and Gentoo sources). I'm compiling on a uniprocessor Ultra 60.
