|
|
Well since i use gentoo on my old pc, i'd like to use portage on mac osx but from what I've gathered it uses the root path and not a separate path like fink or Darwinports
I know that there is collision detection to prevent disasters but still I don't really want it to mess with the /usr in case of.
From another thread before in september, somebody said that the possibility of changing the path would come and I'd like to know if it is implemented yet
Thanks |

collision detection doesnt just "prevent disasters", the program will not emerge if it replaces ANY file |
