Hi,
Since one week I'm completly stuck with that. After the installation, when I try to boot the machine I have this :
Boot device: /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2/disk@0,0 File and args:
SILO Version 1.4.8
boot:
Allocated 8 Megs of memory at 0x40000000 for kernel
Loaded kernel version 2.4.28
Remapping the kernel... done.
After that, nothing and I think it freezes as I can't hear or see any disk activity.
I've checked in the forum around Console drivers issues. So I've give a go with only PROM support without any Frame-buffer support --> Freeze
anyway
It's the same with the specifics CGsix support.
Any clue ? |

Well, thanks it's help as now I could boot using kernel on disk and Silo on the Cdrom.
Currently my kernel is not very clean so I have to check it before work on the issue with Silo. In the link you gave me, do you know if the use of -f parameter fix the issue ? (can't see other reply).
I'll let you know if i progress |
