You'll probably want it to look something like;
Code: |
# Generic config options
partition = 1
timeout = 50
# Gentoo options
image = /boot/vmlinux
label = linux
root=/dev/hda3
# Solaris options
other = /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ide@3/disk@3,0;2
label = solaris
solaris
|
When booting to Solaris, this will cause the machine to reboot and boot from the new drive. You could also do this with a "boot disk2" at a OBP prompt. |

I want to re-build my u60 and put solaris on half and gentoo on the other, I figure I should put solaris on the 1st drive and gentoo on the other ( i want to play with portis)
How do I figure out what this line should look like?
