|
|
At the moment I use avidemux for my video editing and for audio I use Audacity. On their own they're both very good programs, but when I need to sync up audio and video clips it makes getting the timing and positioning time consuming and difficult.
Now, I was wondering if there's any utilities to make this a bit easier? Something that'll let me visualize how the audio is playing in relation to the video frames? Possibly similar to Adobe Premiere, as I hear that's pretty much what Premiere does. |

You could use try cinelerra, I believe it has such features.
But be warned, it's a professional tool and ot easy to learn. _________________ linux user 65882 |

Mplayer could be of help too
You can use the + and - to shift audio and video (10(0?) ms each keystroke), note down the value and enter it in audacity/avidemux.
ps: look at that nice ebuild too : bug #15366 |

That's pretty much what I've been doing.. checking the times and matching them up accordingly. But really I wouldn't mind doing it in realtime.
Adobe Premiere works fairly well in VMWare but I'd rather have something I can run natively. So mean, when ya gonna implement full blown audio editing and manipulation into your application? |
