Has anyone compiled any of the utilities for accessing Dell's DRACIII (Remote access console device) ie - the 'racadm' command - which I think needs a Kernel Module (2.6.?) for access..
Dell officially supports Redhat and some Debian work has also been done.

The DRAC is basically a stand-alone computer on a PCI (or Riser) card with its own ethernet - allowing remote power management, monitoring - etc of the Dell. It also provides console redirection.
Its a very useful addition to a computer half way around the world from me - especially when an upgrade of SSH locks me out...
