hi leute,

ich bin jemand, der in letzter zeit immer direkt nach dem online gehen schon standartmaessig ein "emerge rsync && emerge -up world" durchfuehren laesst. nur um zu sehen obs updates wichtiger pakete gibte. ABER:

seit knapp ner woche bekomme ich die anzeige dass nichts upzudaten ist.

warum?? ich bin gewohnt, dass mindestens aller 2 tage irgend ein paket upgedatet werden will(ob ichs mache is ja ne andere frage) und nun kommt schon sein 7 tagen gar kein update mehr in den portage-tree?? kann das sein?? mir ist das mit den neuen versionen egal, eigentlich, aber diese oben beschriebene tatsache wundert mich schon. ist evtl. mein portage kaputt??
hab selbiges auch schon neu emerget, jedoch ohne erfolg..

Hi,
versuch doch mal ein emerge -up -deep world. Pakete die als abhängigkeiten mitkompiliert werden werden bei einem normalen emerge world nicht mitaktualisiert. Vielleicht gibts ja doch Änderungen...

Hi,

es wurde doch vor kurzem gesagt, dass wegen der 1.4Final der Portage-Tree eingefroren würde. Hiesse das nicht, dass erstmal mit Updates im Portage-Tree essig wäre?!!

Also im unstable Tree gibts fast jeden Tag ein Update, nix da mit eingefroren :)
