Hi, I just upgraded my kernel and obviously I lost alsa sound. When I come to emerge alsa-drivers it fails.

I've re-link /usr/src/linux to the new kernel version but ir is still saying about the previous defintions.
Any ideas? |

Make sure you've got the latest kernel as well.
I had similar problem, I upgraded the kernel to latest gentoo-sources, now alsa compiles OK. |
