SPEED HACK

hi i am wondering why my Tux Racer run at the same speed on my 2GHZ and my 3GH ?

because it use gettime() or somethings i am wondering if i can make a module(cheat.c) for my kernel to cheats on the real system time (ie to make time pass 2xfaster) so my tux Racer can suck up 100% of my CPU and play faster !

What do you mean by speed? Your fps are the same or the game runs at the same pace?

What would be the point of this? It runs the same speed because it's already rendering way more frames per second than your eye can perceive anyway. Tuxracer isn't demanding enough to need 100% of your cpu. It's simple enough to only require a small fraction.

you don't need to hack into the kernel, and it's not a good idea to do so ...
if you want more speed, you can adjust the physics value in Tuxracer (PPRacer) recompile and run ...
