using mirrors for installation

how do i edit the make.conf so i can use a mirror instead of ibiblio. sorry if this is a redundant post, but i couldnt find any hint of how to do this.

Add a GENTOO_MIRRORS definition in /etc/make.conf. See /etc/make.globals for syntax example. BTW, bug #14869 filed.
