Hi, I tried to emerge mplayer but got a problem in emerging lame:

Code:

idk-002c307 root # emerge mplayer
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 4) media-sound/lame-3.93.1 to /
>>> md5 ;-) lame-3.93.1.tar.gz
>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking lame-3.93.1.tar.gz
>>> Source unpacked.
 * Working directory: /var/tmp/portage/lame-3.93.1/work/lame-3.93.1...
 * Cannot apply any patch, running libtoolize...
You should update your `aclocal.m4' by running aclocal.

do you want to use lame at all? If not, try emerging mplayer again after adding -encode to the use flags in /etc/make.conf

Thanks Henrik, I don't need the encoding feature and so mplayer works fine without. I just saw me some quicktime trailer ;)
