I had my quickcam installed in my second usb plug. It works great!
But now I got a dexxa usb graphic tablet and when I plug it into the first usb, "xawtv" and "gnomemeeting" will say /dev/video1 (webcam) is busy and image stays black....

I dont know if dexxa tablet works or not, because I haven't installed, and I dont have much experience with USB... I tried to install it as a usb mouse, and all I got was something wrong about keydev for usbmouse mod.

But that's not the question, the question is how do I tell the mod_quickcam it must use the second usb, or something ?
I thought it was the USB Bandwith option in the kernel, compiled it but still the same error... =/

What happens if you switch the plugs? Normally it doesn't make a difference where it's plugged in I think. Do you have the usbdevfs compiled?

Hey, I switched the plugs, and it did difference... now webcam works again...
But maybe now, tablet won't (I cant say it now for sure since I can't find modules for it). What can I do ? Where the device is plugged shouldnt make the difference, should it ?

And yes, I do have usbdevfs installed, and usbview, that's how I figured out what chip did my lego webcam use and that my dexxa table has a "wintime usb tablet" chipset too =) Very nice this /proc/bus stuff (lspci is great too)
