|
|
Hi guys!
I wonder if you have seen something like my buddy has in his Windows but for our beutiful Linux =). It's about a fake share for DC. He starts a little daemon, picks a fake share value and then starts his DC. Just so he can connect to good hubs, where you actually can find good music.
Any suggestions?

There is a "size offset" in dc-gui, that may be what your are referring to?

Yup, dc-gui also have a "virtual share" feature, which defeats hubs that actually check for size offsets |

Don't like fake sharing. Imagine every single user in , say, a 100 gig hub using fake shares. Not much to leech then... |

thats the exact reason I don't go into large hubs now, cos most aren't sharing alot. I always download the users list if they try get something from me, I mean why should I let you download of me if you're not sharing. |
