|
|
Hi all,
exactly. I'd like to create my own gentoo ISO (e.g. for a `worst case reboot`). However. I know that I should use the mkisofs tool and that I should create a chrooted environment where I do create my new CD bootable Gentoo environment. But how do I make this bootable? And. is this way to create bootable/runnable iso's right?
The kernel creates the files bbootsect (the boot sector), bsetup (the setup block behind the boot sector) and bzImage (the kernel itself).
Or how do I setup that boot cd with grup in it? (<-- that's what I'd prefer)
Thanks in advance,
Christian Parpart. |
