I am utterly confused by Larry the Cow. I wonder if there is a story behind the name. Maybe her? dad wanted a bull?
On the abducted one, shoudn't that read "if it moooves, compile it"?
I do like the posters. Good work. |

A female cow named Larry. That is freaky as hell.
You may want to look into the anatomy of cows a bit before you claim this cow is male. If it is supposed to be male... it likely shouldn't have udders.

It's a he. That doesn't make it any less weirder, though. |
well well well.. .so now I should make it a bull/gnu anyway a MALE animal isn't it?

Which font is used on the "Abducted by gentoo" SVG. I'm trying to convert it into the correct aspect to use for a wallpaper but the fonts become messed up on me - so I guess I don't have the right font installed.
Btw, they are really nice work. |

Well, I'm not sure about the whole cow mascot thing since I hate country stuff and it reminds me of gayway computers, but the portage thing is awesome. I changed the gradient to blue and I'm going to make a wallpaper out of it.
I can't get the SVG to render correctly. The top layer of the Gentoo logo is missing and the text is too big and halfway off the side. I'm using Gimp 2.0 and Gthumb (all I really have ATM). _________________ "There's no problem so large it can't be solved by killing the user off, deleting their files, closing their account and reporting their REAL earnings to the IRS" |

The posters are really cool, I like them, and thanks for sharing them with us.

Uhh. I'm going to come clean with you... There was an accident. :p
Seriously though, what font is used on the Abducted SVG? I really want to make a nice high-resolution version to use as a wallpaper. |

that's what I expected... the only thing to do is to emerge inkscape and then export as a png, if you don't want to, just ask me for right dimensions and I'll upload it onto my home site, no prob.
@ Z3RO 0: the fonts used in my svg works are available here: http://www.smartart.it/works/index.php?dir=fonts/

Portage.png would make a great wallpaper especially for my c++ dev machine. Any chance you could make one in 1280x1024 format? _________________ You're twistin' my melon man! |

Here's the wallpaper: http://finux.net/compile-1280.png
(Although, the background seems to be python; no need to compile that. )

Thanks Heaps! Even though it's not c++, it might spur me on to learn Python and maybe a few other languages in the future _________________ You're twistin' my melon man! |

It is posible that Larry can be a male cow with utters. On a rare occation some species of male mammals have been known to lactate. Men have the same type of breast tissue as women just the lack of necessary hormones to develop them and to produce milk. Hormone therapy or a prolactin producing tumor could have caused Larry's Utters to develop. This could also be a simple case of gynomastia (man-boobs). _________________ "If you could see what I have seen with your eyes" Blade Runner |

Nice work.
IMO, I would prefer to have the body enlarged, right now the head seems to be out of proportion. _________________ CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo

Nice work. Maybe it could be an idea for gentoo store to include posters, if it's not too much complicated. _________________ vificunero@jabber.org |
