1) I have a bttv tv card. Where do i enable that in the kernel. Nothing under Multimedia > video4linux seemed to pertain to the bttv.
2) when i try to boot with kernel 2.5.59, it says, uncompressing linux.....now booting the krnel and hangs. why? |

As to the tv card I am not sure i was under the impression that bttv was supported by v4l.
As to why the 2.5.59 kernel hangs, the best answer is that it is a development kernel. Anything more specific and someone can help, otherwise drop back to 2.4 |

As for the 2.5 kernel, it cbuilds like 20x faster than the 2.4. Is that supposed to happen? Or is the kernel not getting built right? |
