I'm totally lost here, so I hope someone can help. I recently updated xfree to 4.2.1-r2 and now I have some serious issues with my display: everytime I run X, I get 2 or 3 'lines' running vertically down the screen,.
I don't think I paid close enough attention when I was updating the config files, but I can't find anything that looks out of the ordinary.
Also, the 'lines' (kind of like distortion??) won't appear on a screen capture. |

| Sounds like the monitor isn't set up correctly. |

| the monitor settings in /etc/X11/XF86Config are correct....is there somewhere else I should be updating some settings? |
