each time i search for something i can never find what i want.....gentoo forums have a dodge seach engine.......drives me crazy...
i type in kernel...................................................about to hits for kernel comes up.......i type in kernel 2.5.xx and nvidia.....even though i have read pages with these words on it..........they dont come up..
im wondering if anyone else thinks the forum search engine is dodgy? i sure do |

The phpBB search function does leave some to be desired. I've found that almost always I get better results by choosing "search for all terms". Also, it works better with search terms three letters or longer (unforutnately, lots of linux terms are shorter), and searches containing version numbers tend to be the most hopeless. _________________ "An empty head is not really empty; it is stuffed with rubbish.
