lsdldoom x2

I can run 2 copies of lsdldoom on my computer at once, although one does not make sound... However, I can't seem to get them both to listen to my keyboard at the same time. This would be ideal, as I'd then be able to play split-screen deathmatch doom on one keyboard.

Is there any cunning way to get them to both listen to the keyboard at the same time?

Using a joystick seems to me the only solution. That's if lsdldoom doesn't require to be focused (start one with js disabled and the other with).
