during openoffice configure step:
Code:

 Setting up the environment for building OpenOffice.
Setting platform independent values... done
Setting Linux Intel specific values... done
NO_GXX_INCLUDE = no_gxx_include, NO_GXX_INCLUDE = argv(2)
Please enter the g++ include path (e.g. /usr/include/g++-3):

I tried putting in /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/include/g++-v3, .../i686../include, i tried linking g++-v3 to g++-3 which it asks for, putting that path in, i tried linking the proper path to /usr/inclde/g++-3, nothing works, it dosnt recognise it :cry:

Could this be a problem with the new gcc-config stuff, ive got gcc-3.2.1-r6 installed and working and the g++ include path could be set funny by gcc-config

Same thing happened to me and I tried some of the things you did only to have the ebuild fail. Then, two minutes ago, I tried again. This time when prompted for the g++ include path, I just pressed entered. When I was told that the directory didn't exist and asked if I want to create it, I answered no.

Now OO is compiling away. Don't know if it'll make it all the way through, but I haven't gotten this far before either.

I have gotten the same problem, so I searched for g++ and found it under:

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.1/include/g++-v3/

Not sure if it's the right one, but I didn't find anything else that fits better.

Hi,

I had similar problems. Luckly, it looks like there will be a revision soon. :D Check bug #12677 https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12677

!!! ERROR: app-office/openoffice-1.0.1-r1 failed.
