a few days back i was thinking why is nano in the "system" package while vim is not. vim is the first thing I always emerge before I do anything.

So now vim is on the LiveCD? In order to balance the cosmic scales, we have to put GNU Emacs on it as well. Of course, such a blatant bias would upset a lot of users, there are still heatens who use the venerable GNU Emacs 19.29 as well, so that should be put in a prominent place. Of course, the Church of Emacs reveres all it's saints equally, so the respected GNU Emacs 19.34 should also be put on the disc. We wouldn't want to forget XEmacs either, so it, and all its versions, should be a possibility too. Gentoo is about choice, right? Finally, one wouldn't want to be left deep into enemy territory without backup, so the complete GNU Info system and the Emacs Lisp Reference Manual should be bundled as well.

Good point, why isn't enemy-territory on the live-cd? :evil:
