PCMCIA Modem hang up

Hi,

I have a HP Omnibook XT1000 Laptop and try to use my PCMCIA Modem. I've already used it with SuSE, so I know, that it works.

I don't use the kernel support, but the pcmcia-cs package.

- I've done a:
modprobe pcmcia_core
modprobe i82365
modprobe ds
- until here, everything worked find without errors or warnings, but when I type in
cardmgr -fmy system hangs up and I have to use the power button.

Can anybody help me out?
