/dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,ro 0 0
That's in my /etc/fstab.
I have NO problem mounting data cd's, vcd's.
Put my audio cd's wont mount?
Is there a different file system I need? |

you are not supposed to mount cdda, to play it use some software, in xmms, install the cdda input plugin and set your cdrom device and mount point, then, you enter that dir and press add all files from dir and it should read the traks. _________________ I am Beta, don't expect correct behaviour from me.

Thanks,
I'm feeling pretty STUPID.
I put the CD in, started XMMS, choose DIR /mnt/cdrom & BAM it started playing.

Just in case anyone's interested, a patch actually does exist that is supposed to allow you to mount an audio cd. It's included in The JP kernel patches.
Having said that, I couldn't get it to work. Whenever I attempted to enable it, compilation would fail so I don't know what it looks like |
