Just rivet sheet steel over the windows or use bullet-proof glass.

And cuff his arms and legs to the floor.. just like how his child was probably in a child safety seat to prevent him/her from going anywhere.

He's not an imbecile, this guy is merely acting emotional. He wants to prevent that others make the same mistake he did, that's all. It might be irrational, but ppl tend to be that way when they fuck up like that...

Then wipe out his entire family.

Great, can we all perpetuate darwinism? I can think of a plethora of people in this world, who do nothing more than bring us all down.

So, who loves thier country more:

Person A, whom believes thier nation is perfect and can do nothing wrong and is just fine the way it is simply because it is where they happen to have been born...

Or

Person B, who can admit the pros and cons of thier nation, and wants to improve upon some of the cons.

?

From a social perspective, b. From a government perspective, a.

Yeah I might agree, I'm not sure exactly how emotional the dumbass is.

It's kinda like that incident or something with these kids that were trying to play GTA in real life and killed someone's daughter/son, and the parent(s) sued the makers of GTA, not the parents of those freaks. You can get real messed up if you get emotional and stuff. :?

So can I: Democrats, Republicans, and the dogmatic fools at the Ayn Rand Institute. Not to mention the MPAA and the FCC.

What about the RIAA, FDA.. oh my, the list is endless, it's not healthy to think of this vast majority of organic waste.

Only in america....
Quote:
"vehicles should have warning systems to remind parents that a child is inside".
People that stupid dont deserve to drive. Also he would get prosecuted for manslaughter in the UK. They throw people in jail for years for doing that to animals here.

Yes, but here the cycle runs like this:

* Man kills his child out of neglect
* Man forces auto makers to implement child alarm
* Parents must register each child being placed in a car
* Sensors verify the identity of the child
* GPS signal goes out that a child is in a vehicle
* All moving children are tracked
* Parent stops vehicle, location tracked
* Parent gets out of vehicle, forgets child is there
* Police follow GPS signal
* Police break into car to save child
* Parent sues Police for breaking and entering
* Police sue vehicle manufacturer for not having a universal 'police skeleton key'
* Vehicles now have simple access by a single key

Or, let's think along homes... Pretty soon police are allowed to walk into your home because a sensor reports an unmoving child.

I will not give up my freedoms due to others stupidity. I will not give up my freedoms so others have an illusion of 'safety'. I will fight and die to protect my freedoms.[/i]

Yeah, stupidity IS a crime when it kills or seriously hurts people. At least in europe... I's called "negligence" or "omission to duties"...
I could excuse omission to the level of failing to keep out of reach some medicine or detergent and get your kid poisoned like that but actually FORGET the poor soul and LOCK her in the car long enough to get her killed? Man, you must be such a dumbass you are PROVEN to be a menace to society!
I doubt the moron ever forgot his sixpack of beers in the back seat but yet he managed to forget a living-breathing-crying human being even of reduced dimensions (read: YOUR GODDAMNED KID!)
It's crap like that that gives americans such a bad name... A piece of advice: stop making sympathetic headlines of such incidents and rather convince such individuals to seek professional help. :P

Its only called that up until death, then its manslaughter, thats the definition of it: "negligence leading to death"

What? We in the states do not take responsibility for our actions or those of our government. We are ignorant idiots that needs laws and warnings to tell us we can't jump off Niagra Falls, or not to put electrical appliances in the bath with us.

I'm surprised his wife forgave him for killing their child. Accident or not, he killed the kid.

If my spouse did that, I'd go my own way. I don't want to be with someone so cluleless and unintelligent they would forget there own child was with them.

What's next? Take the kids to the beach, forget you have them, and complain when they drown that the ocean didn't have an alarm system?

passing the blame is easy, it's realising that you need to wake upthata the trouble.

Isn' t it aspects like this what religion has been trying to teach us for years! Not take the easy emotional route but take the logical answers (aka he killed his own child).

This all leads back to my idea of removing warning labels off of EVERYTHING! Let people die via their own stupidity. This waste of skin would never have had a child if he were left to his own devices at a young age.

No more labels of "Do not place over your head" on plastic bags, No more "Do not use in the shower" on electric hair driers....

Well.. I've never claimed that America is perfect.

Then again, I don't hijack threads to debase anyone's country.

I could not agree more. No matter how many warning labels you have on something; some idiot will find a new way to kill himself with it

The more idiot proof you make it, the less people have to think. The less they think, the more idiotic things they spawn by those random neural firings.

Oh, that was you? I read it here when you first said it (unless you've said it many times), and have since been spreading your wisdom. I believe you used the words "let the problem take care of itself."
