Hi guys,
i've just installed postfix as my mta and now i want to
install qpopper for use as pop3-server.
How can i configure qpopper that it looks into /etc/passwd
and /etc/shadow for usernames and passwords to
authenticate? i looked into the qpopper manual, but i
can't find anything... i also searched the forums.
I hope anyone can help me with this problem!
greetz.

sorry for the stupid question, but how did you get qpopper not to look up shadowed passwords??
I emerged it, updated xinetd configuration and opened the port in the firewall - and everything worked fine.
What errors do you get in the servers syslog? what on the clients side?
