so i emerged quake3 today, everything went well untill i went to run it and said i didnt have permission to do it. so i added my account to the games group manually by editing the /etc/group file. i thought it was really wierd, so i chowned all the wuake3 files to root and gave them all 744 and 755 permissions, and it ran great. but i was wondering, does anyone know why it didnt work?

I'm thinking this is a generic bug; it's affecting me on all games that I emerge and use /usr/share/games.
Also, /usr/games/bin is not included, for some reason, as the path so you have to type the full dir/filename.
I'll submit a bug report later. _________________ Want Free games?
