Hi!
I want to use the ssh-agent with xdm(@runlevel default) & windowmaker.
I don't want to use keychain, because i want to have the passwordless login only under X.
Has everybody just done that? I tested a lot of ways in xdm-startscript, etc...but it doesn't work...

Hi,
in your /etc/X11/Sessions/wmaker enter the following line:
exec /usr/bin/ssh-agent /usr/bin/wmaker
this works for gdm,
for xdm you must enter this in ~/.xsession

Hi!
~/.xsession doesn't exist, so i build it with exec /usr/bin/ssh-agent /usr/bin/wmaker inside.
But i cannot connect to it...ssh-agent won't be started when i look at ps -aux. |

Solved...for xdm /usr/bin/ssh-agent /usr/bin/wmaker in /etc/X11/Sessions/wmaker also works.!  |
