windowmaker language keyboard switch button

I would like to have more information about this new feature that has been implemented in the lastest 0.80.2 (still reported as 0.80.1). I searched on so many places that I don't know where to look now since it's not even documented (I d/led the tarball and it still looks like 0.80.1). I only wan't to know exactly what it does I can figure out the rest by myself then.
