salve, ho un problema con gentoo, la mia macchina è composta da : mainboard gigabyte ga7va/via kt400
ram ddr 333 256 mb
scheda video radeon 9000pro2 schede di rete 1 con chip realtek, e l'altra marca Surecom mi han detto che ho problemi con il kernel x la mia mobo.. cosa posso fare?

l'errore è :kmod:failed to exec /sbin/modprobe-s-k binfmnt-9653 , errno=8 un conoscente mi ha detto che mi occorrerebbe il kernel2.4.20  |

cerca di essere più preciso nella descrizione del problema.
quando ti è comparso questo errore? cosa hai già installato/configurato?
che cosa stavi facendo quando è successo?
scusa la pedanteria, ma è proprio necessario essere precisi per avere un'idea
di quale possa essere il punto

figurati, l'errore melo da al boot d'installazione, dopo che ha fatto il riconoscimento hw
da lì riparte e finisce con sto errore
non faccio in tempo a dirgli niente praticamente
sarà mica un download bacato? |

quantomeno insolito...
non ho mai avuto problemi con il cd di installazione gentoo, mi ha
riconosciuto anche dei pezzi di legno di hardware.
ultimo tentativo: non riesci a scrivermi le ultime 4 o 5 righe prima dell'errore?
magari si tratta di una stupidaggine e riusciamo a risolverla
