CUPS Media Tray Empty Error epson c42ux

I am running cups-gimp and regaurdless of the version I run I get

(PID 5850) for job 22.
W [30/Dec/2002:06:43:55 -0500] [Job 22] Media tray empty!

These Media Tray empty errors, odd thing is that I get the same error if I
have paper in the machine (it has no TRAY persay) or I remove the paper.
