I'm trying to mount a compactflash card via a pcmcia reader.
I've gotten the machine to recognize the card, but I can't seem to mount it, and I think the problem may be that I didn't compile fat/vfat support into my kernel. Since the machine is a p166/80mb, I'd rather not recompile if I don't have to.
So the actual question is this. What filesystems can I mount a DCF (Design rule for Camera Filesystems) compliant card as? Is it only fat/vfat? _________________ "and if rain brings winds of change, let it rain on us forever..." |

My compact flash card is FAT. I think you'll have to recompile your kernel in order to access yours. _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." -- Calvin |

Yea, it seems that fat or vfat does the trick. I couldn't find anything in the specification documents for the DCF, though, so I figured I'd ask. _________________ "and if rain brings winds of change, let it rain on us forever..." |
