I'm trying to make Phoenix the default browser in KDE 3.1rc5 instead of Konqi.
I can change the file associations so html-files are opened by Phoenix,
but I cannot change the bookmarks-menu in KDE so that it uses the Phoenix-bookmarks (not even using a clever symlink between the bookmark-files).
In control panel-KDE components-Component chooser, I can choose an Email-client, text editor and terminal emulator, but NO webbrowser/bookmark editor
How can I really make Phoenix default browser, or: how can I manually edit these right-click KDE menu's, in order to entirely remove the "bookmarks" entries, since right now they are useless. |

Right click on your tasks, choose Preferences > Menus and uncheck the menu entries you don't want.
I was able to make Phoenix the default bookmark browser by associating both HTML and XML files with it under Control Center > File Browsing > File Associations > Text however. |
