Just a quick question, in rc.conf
Xsession=""
what do I exactly make that say to make my typing startx start right up with fluxbox? |

I usually just throw in "exec fluxbox" into my ~/.xinitrc _________________ open like a child's mind. |

Just put fluxbox in you ~/.xinitrc then it pops up when you type startx |

root directory... so ~/.xinitrc |

~ refers to your home directory. So if you're logged in as joe, if you typed in nano -w ~/.xinitrc it would give you nano -w /home/joe/.xinitrc. _________________ open like a child's mind. |

or you can just pop "fluxbox" on the end of Xsession=
thats what i do! |

Thanks a lot. Flux only takes like 20 minutes to emerge
Crazyness after seeing KDE take over 20 hours.
Ill be testing this out right after mozilla finishes emerging. I hope it works. |
