!LOOK AT EDIT! Ok I don't know where my nav bar for kde went but now I just have a desktop and no way to go anywhere except konsole or using the konqueror file browser. Ive look around and tried using "ctrl + esc" to bring my nav bar up but there isnt one. So... How do I add a nav bar back to the desktop?

This has now happened more than once while emerging things and for instance i'll be emerging mozilla and go somewhere for a while and come back and my taskbar is gone and my konsole isn't open anymore.... Anyone know wtf is wrong?

Try hitting alt-F1. That will bring up the "k" menu. From there you should be able to access the control center and make changes to your environment.
