I'm a little new to the whole server thing, but I believe what I want is possible, I just don't know where to start. I am going to setup a network that is connected to the net via a cable modem. I will have a server to do apache, ftp, etc within the network. What I want to do is have the ability for someone to call into the server via a phone line, and have my fax modem pickup and give the caller access to the internet. Basically I want to be my very own, very limited ISP. The computer is located at a buissiness, and I want to be able to get on the net at home, without paying the extra $30.00 a month. Is any of this possible? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

There is a tool called dialback (don't recall the correct url, but try Google), very small, which makes your Linux box a RAS (Remote Access Server).

Don't know if this can help, but that's the way I used to tele-work from home.
