I've got a couple of Prism2.x cards.
I've never tried the kernel drivers, but have used both linux-wlan-ng and hostap. Both of which have worked flawlessly, and are in constant development.

I also have two Prism2/2.5, one as an AP using hostap_pci and one in the Zaurus with the prism2 driver. An Orinoco Silver and a Symbol based card both use the orinoco_cs driver in my laptop. All those drivers have good support for wireless extensions and work very well.
Since it really depends on what card you have and how it will be used, you should check out this page for detailed info. |
