Hey,
I compiled a new gentoo system yesterday using xfs-sources (got xfs root)
i must have selected something in my kernel config that didnt agree with my system. I did try a few new things like input core support.
I also think i tried some video console settings.(this may be it??)
Anyone know what the probable setting is that is causing it to do dead. It starts booting and then the screen dies. It still is there though. If i login and emerge sync the system is accessing thet net - so its just a display issue. I dont want to just unselect all my new options as some I need. Wondering if you guys have seen this before and point me to the right option
thanx |

I have had same problems too. My problem was invalid framebuffer settings in grub (bypassed to kernel via grub). Same with you? And you have console support in your kernel? |
